This limited prints result of an experiment related to skin tone. The exact same diferences that makes us different also make us equals. A shared body that is the sum of all of us. Probably this Human unity felling as a result of the Pandemic. This experiment goes from CMYK towards an honest and full approach to #allcoloursmatter.
Francisco Vidal
Born in Portugal to a Cape Verdean mother and an Angolan father, Francisco Vidal (1978) has been exploring various mediums in his work, including painting, drawing and installation, the result of a meticulous and continued reflection on the discursive possibilities of plastic and aesthetic expression in the relationship with the societies and current events of Portugal and Angola. His work is imbued with a historical and political connotation, exploring subjects such as the African diaspora, cultural and identitarian miscegenation, and transcultural currents.
